Work from Lights, Camera, Actions at LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) in the spring of 2007.

1. The Hollywood Boulevard Story: We are What We Carry. Created for the show, each side of the quilt represents one side of Hollywood Boulevard. A bag was collected from each store and kept in order, painting a cultural portrait of the gentrification of Hollywood Boulevard as well as pointing out some odd neighbors (eg scientology center and sexy time shop).
2. Created outside of LACE on Hollywood Boulevard, 108 Gallons of water (the average per day consumption in Los Angeles) was left to melt next to a drain leading to the Ocean. This was also done in conjunction with Step It Ups first day of Action (April 14, 2007)
